The job was done well... but the timekeeping could have been better
Hi I am a multi tradesman with 30 years plus experience specialising in decorating and house refurbishment. I also hang all wallpapers. I cover domestic & commercial Property interior and exterior works.
Paul was easy to deal with and gave us a comprehensive list of materials that were adhered to. He turned up when he said he would and his estimate of time for the job was spot on. Furthermore, his price changed slightly upwards but as a result of more work that was totally in line with the other work so all good. Would definately use Paul again and look forward to seeing him on another job. Thanks

Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

the worst job ever i have seen i hired anthony as a professional to do some finishing touches on venetian plaster but he didnt do it he took a deposit then he disappeared for three weeks telling stories that he was sick or he didn't have time when he finally came to do the job he did it even worse than before came with one can of filler and made my walls a ugly color arguing that they couldn't be done better didn't return the deposit! i don't recommend it to anyone, do not pay deposit this person

Although the job ultimately took a few days longer than initially estimated, Russell did a excellent job which I am very happy with; he worked hard and ensured the job was completed as soon as possible; I intend to use Russell again for some painting and decorating.

He's a middle man; does not do any work; got others to do it like a plumber, then a tiler the next day; slow work made worse when someone messed up or did not show up. Ali only shows to deliver materials or check work. Quick to reply when wanting the job. Slow/no response once job starts thinking you wont cancel. Quality of finish was poor, not a professional std from a qual carpenter.Broke floor tiling,smashed mirror, drilled 3 saw marks into the floor as no plinth was used.Agreed to make good smashed mirror,broken tiling, saw mark damage but never returned.Marks/holes in surface facing wood covered up badly with filler/wood shavings.Gaps between cupboard doors/walls.Paid for anti water resistant wood but cheap chipboard used instead.Drilled through the opposing wall which required patching.Would never recommend
