We engaged Stuart and his team in 2023 to help remodel our garage into a suitable office space and gym. In all, it has cost us an additional £4.5k to rectify the issues Stuart and his team made from a poorly fitted garage door which voided the manufacturer's warranty, poorly rendered exterior, numerous snagging issues and unfinished work. I would not recommend.

I have been trading as MJ Griifiths for nearly 30 years now . My father was a gas engineer and I initially trained with him and got my City & Guilds qualifications. I branched into building a few years later in a partnership with a school friend who was a carpenter. Together we estabalished a Building , plumbing and heating company covering all aspects of the trade. The partnership no longer exists but M J Griffiths does ! Its fair to say that I am a very experienced all rounder who specalises in Heating and plumbing, all gas work and servicing , bathroom installations etc . We mainly only carry out associated building works now a days to go along with say a bathroom installation where we would do studwork, boarding , skimming , carpentry, tiling etc. My company does not have to use other trades for things like this enabling us to keep costs down with no delays waiting for other trades. My son James has qualified as a gas engineer 6 years ago and has worked with me for 10 years. Now we have on board my youngest son Max as an apprentice , studying at Trowbridge college on day release. We install Worcester boilers if possible and are due to be Worcester acredited this autumn . We also install other makes of boilers if the budget requires. We also specalize in design , supply and installation of bathrooms. We take the strain , not our customers !
Mark did a great job fitting our new gas boiler. He was reliable and worked hard to get the job done on time. Mark was professional and accomodating throughout and his building skills came in very handy in making good following the removal of our old boiler, meaning that we didn't have to find a seperate builder to do that side of things. All our quotations are free off charge and we never charge a call out fee Just a fair hourly fee off £65 & vat.
I cannot praise this firm enough. They removed my old boiler & fitted a new one . Also removing the gas fire & back boiler. Ben & his team were fantastic. They were efficient polite & friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them. Even when I added a couple of extra jobs! It was all done in a few days & left clean & tidy. I would recommend them any time.

Apart from causing £350. worth of damage to my roof and electrics so far and ignoring my emails questioning why they didn't tell me. The job was done quickly and virtually to the agreed specification. Would I recommend them? Probably not just for not coming clean about the damage and not communicating. I had a quote from them for a fence which I was going to take up, also a couple of other jobs to quote for but I am now looking elsewhere. I have no confidence they will tell me if something goes wrong.

Hired Ian to Build a single story extension and install new kitchen and downstairs shower room . Crew were very pleasant and very helpful in planning the the job ahead of them. Very pleased with the work carried out looks amazing Having to put up with an awkward neighbor didn't deter them from doing and completing the job. The price put in was very reasonable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I can't recommend Tom. Previously TH&Jones Ltd he has changed the company name. He has left us with an extension that doesn't meet building regulations and needs to be taken down. Our house unsalable. I have an independent report to support it. Insufficient foundation, no damp course, insufficient insulation, incorrect installation of roof. He said he would rectify if we paid for 'things unquoted' but failed to show exactly what. We haven't heard from him in months. Stay away!!

Mar came to my home and was extremely polite and professional and was very willing to do any garden work I asked him to do. He removed all the turf from my front garden and replaced it with a weed membrane and stone chippings and now it looks amazing. It was all done very quickly.
