I was quoted £250 to supply and hang a door. After discussing various locks I decided on Eclipse ED20, which I agreed to supply to overcome the issue of the lock being expensive. The quote increased by £125 just for the labour claiming its harder to install an electronic lock. I challenged this as excessive and clarified its mechanical and offered a fair £50. He repeatedly told me to go elsewhere, withdrew and accused me of blackmail when I mentioned leaving a review. Disappointed with the time wasted.

Quoted the job after multiple scope & material changes. And although disappointed in the time wasted discussing the job also. I only pulled out of the job once it became clear we could not agree on the price of the job. Seema then thought it was best to offer me an ultimatum in which unless I did the work at a price that suited her. She'd write a derogatory review. of course we did not accept this offer & we don't accept any form of coercive or manipulative behaviour. Seemas conduct will be reported.

Harry did a sterling job for us! He hung 9 internal doors perfectly. His attention to detail is second to none. He arrived on time every morning, kept us informed on what he planned to do each day and worked hard. He was very friendly and polite. We were a little unsure if to use Harry because he is based in Sutton Coldfield and we are in Derby but he explained why he prefers working this side of Birmingham and the travelling was no issue. We would 100% recommend Harry.
